Pre Care Instructions

Pre care instructions for semi permanent makeup.

Avoid Blood Thinners

Refrain from consuming blood-thinning substances, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and alcohol, for at least 48 hours before the procedure. This helps reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising.

No Caffeine

Minimize caffeine intake 24 hours before your appointment. This can contribute to increased sensitivity during the procedure.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Limit sun exposure and tanning beds for at least one week prior to the procedure. Sunburned or excessively tanned skin may not hold pigment as well.

Discontinue Retinol Products

If you use products containing retinol or vitamin A, discontinue use at least one week before the appointment. These ingredients can increase skin sensitivity.

Stay Hydrated

Ensure you are well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin tends to heal better.

Inform Your Technician

Notify your technician if you have a history of cold sores, as a preventive antiviral medication may be recommended.

Remove Contact Lenses

If applicable, remove contact lenses before the procedure. Bring your glasses for better comfort during the session.

Avoid Exercise On The Day

Try to avoid intense exercise on the day of the procedure, as sweating can affect the healing process.

Arrive Makeup Free

Come to your appointment with a clean face and no makeup on the treated area. This allows the technician to work on a fresh canvas.

Bring Reference Images

If you have specific preferences for the semi-permanent makeup, bring reference images to help the technician understand your desired outcome.

By following these pre-care instructions, you contribute to the success of your semi-permanent makeup procedure and enhance the overall results. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to discuss them with your technician before the appointment.

Post Care

Remember, everyone's healing process varies, so be patient and allow your skin to recover naturally.

If you experience any unusual redness, swelling, or signs of infection, contact your technician or seek medical advice promptly.

Please adhere to these instructions for the best results. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to your technician.

Wishing you a smooth and beautiful healing process!

1 / Avoid Water Contact

Refrain from water exposure on the treated area for the first 7 days. This includes avoiding swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and prolonged showers.

2 / No Moisturizers or Ointments

Do not apply any creams, ointments, or moisturizers to the treated area during the initial healing period.

3 / Avoid Sun Exposure

Protect the treated area from direct sunlight. If sun exposure is unavoidable, use a wide-brimmed hat or sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

4 / No Makeup or Cosmetics

Avoid applying makeup or other cosmetics directly on the treated area for the first week. This allows the skin to heal naturally.

5 / Avoid Sweating

Minimize activities that induce sweating, such as intense workouts or hot yoga, as sweating can adversely affect the healing process.

6 / No Scratching or Picking

Do not scratch, pick, or peel the treated area, as this can lead to pigment loss and scarring.

7 / Avoid Retinoids and Acids

Refrain from using products containing retinoids, AHA, BHA, or any harsh acids on the treated area, as these can cause irritation and premature fading.

8 / Sleep on Clean Linens

Use clean pillowcases and avoid sleeping on your face to prevent contamination and rubbing during sleep.

9 / Follow Up Appointment

Attend your scheduled follow-up appointment as recommended by your technician for any necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
